Antique Persian Ziegler Large Rug | 11' X 14'

Approximately 70 years old, this one-of-a-kind antique Persian rug is skillfully hand-knotted on a cotton foundation with a tall pile of premium, high-luster wool. Ziegler's rugs feature distinctly handled patterns and palettes, creating carpets with ground colors such as wheat, beige, tobacco, and soft blue. Unique are also the motifs of these rugs, the arabesque and palmette borders, along with the arrangement of flower and leaf motifs on frameworks of scrolling vines, are all characteristic of this era. This rug is in excellent antique condition and has a soft, resilient, and luminous wool pile. Each of our rugs is authentic and personally handpicked by Nedim himself.
