Vintage Kurdish Hamadan Large Rug | 6'10" X 10'

This one-of-a-kind area rug has a plush and soft pile made from 100% wool. This vast Western region has a long history of knotting, weaving and dyeing wool. The center medallion motif is typically surrounded by a larger medallion motif before the frames start. In this case, the middle field becomes the main motif, with lotus blossom and other floral motifs woven in a repeat layout. All of our rugs are authentic and handpicked by Nedim.
