Turkoman Large Vintage Rug | 9'9" x 11'5"

This one-of-a-kind rug is made of 100% wool. Turkoman's only have one set layout that represents the traditional designs of the whole Turkoman area. These include several rows of repeating octagonal or other polygonal motifs that are typically on a red, or in this case, brown background. They are usually encased in a rich array of narrow geometric borders. The essence of Turkoman design is restraint: the ability to make so much out of so little. These rugs symbolize achievements of remarkable depth of expression by combining and recombining the simplest little twists, odds, and ends of design elements. Each rug is authentic and personally handpicked by Nedim himself. 

Thin but dense rug, soft to the touch.
We suggest using a rug mat underneath for cushioning and easy vacuuming.
