Rare Silk Vintage Kayseri Floral Large Rug | 6'6" X 10'

This one-of-a-kind rug is handwoven from 100% silk and adorned with traditional floral motifs, including palmettes and lotus blossoms, in shades of indigo blue, green, and red. Silk rugs have been prized for centuries across the Ottoman courts, celebrated for their luminous sheen, fine craftsmanship, and use as both floor coverings and decorative wall hangings. While the base of this piece is a neutral cream, its colors shift beautifully in different lighting, giving it a dynamic, living quality. As an heirloom, it bears graceful signs of age and use, with softened areas from foot traffic that enhance its character and patina.
