Description

This one-of-a-kind vintage Afghan Baluchi rug is hand-knotted from 100% wool and features a deep indigo ground with warm touches of gold and rust throughout. The wool has a soft feel underfoot and a subtle natural sheen that gives the rug beautiful depth. Up close, the pattern feels full of movement, with small tribal details and repeating motifs that give the piece character and age.

Baluchi rugs are usually found in smaller or medium sizes because they were traditionally made by nomadic and semi-nomadic weavers, often on looms that could travel with them. That makes this piece feel especially special. We recommend using a rug pad underneath to help keep it in place and add extra comfort.
