This one-of-a-kind vintage Kashan rug is hand-knotted with a fine wool pile. Kashan rugs come from one of Persia's most celebrated weaving traditions and are known for their fine knotting, rich floral designs, and elegant central medallions. This piece features a large central starburst medallion surrounded by densely scrolling vines and blossoms in rust, navy, cream, and ivory on a soft periwinkle blue ground. Layered floral borders in blue, burgundy, and ivory frame the design.
