Vintage Kurdish Bakhtiari Rug | 7' x 9'6"

This one-of-a-kind handwoven Kurdish Bakhtiari rug is made from a cotton foundation and a wool pile. This piece combines Kurdish weaving traditions with the Bakhtiari style, which is known for garden and tree motifs arranged in repeating panels, vibrant colors, and a soft texture. This piece features a dense all-over garden design of rosettes, palmettes, and leafy vines in red, navy, gold, and ivory, centered on a small ivory panel. A wide ivory border with red and navy floral motifs frames the design.
