Vintage Kurdish Medium Rug | 5' x 9'6"

This one-of-a-kind handwoven Kurdish rug is made from 100% wool. Kurdish rugs are woven by nomadic weavers and often feature floral and tree motifs that tell symbolic stories unique to each tribe. This piece features a stepped central medallion in apricot and navy, surrounded by small blossoms, tree motifs, and ivory corner spandrels, on a softly faded rose-brown ground. A navy border with rust and apricot flowers frames the design.
