Vintage Persian Mahal Large Rug | 9'7" x 12'

This one-of-a-kind vintage Persian Mahal rug is hand-knotted with a durable wool pile. Mahal rugs come from the Arak region of Iran and are known for their bold, large-scale floral designs and durable construction. This piece features a small central medallion in navy and green, echoed by floral sprays and corner motifs, on a rich, open red ground. A wide navy border of red and peach blossoms with green leaves frames the design.
