Vintage Sumak Large Rug | 11'5" x 15'

This one-of-a-kind handwoven Sumak rug is flat-woven with no pile. Sumak rugs, also spelled Soumak, are thicker and sturdier than Kilims. They are not reversible, as the yarns are left uncut on the back. This piece features a large beige central panel with a red and blue medallion, flanked by coral hooked diamond medallions and small rosettes, on a deep blue ground. A wide red border with geometric motifs and sawtooth bands frames the design.

This rug is perfect for adding warmth and character to a living room, dining room, or bedroom. All of our rugs are authentic and handpicked by Nedim himself.

Flat-woven and sturdy. Not reversible. We suggest using a rug mat underneath.
